Transmission Valve Body

As long as you have a vehicle hoist, you can have the valve body in and out in about 15 minutes. Just take the trans. pan off, remove the 7mm bolt holding the electrical connector, then 9 bolts hold the valve body on. Piece of cake.

Last question, could the valve body be a reason the car shifts into neutral when it reaches 4th gear or could it be a computer misadjustment from star diagnostic cause i saw something on their computer screen talking about 4th gear losing engine connection?

That could be any number of things. It could be a bad speed sensor in the valve body, a problem with the transmission control unit, or even an internal transmission failure, its hard to say for sure.

dont know for sure but...
I dont know for sure but the transmission shifts up to third fine. Would it switch to neutral at 4th if it was a hardware failure or does that indicate electronics failure. What are the most common problems with this type of transmission?
