Eibach springs problem...HELP!!!

Hey guys I have a dilemma. I just installed a set of Eibach Pro kit springs on my clk 320 and the wheel well gap is larger on the front than the back.....it looks like ****. The front still has about a three finger gap while the back only has a two finger gap(with 18" Brabus MonoV's). Can anyone tell me if this has happened to their car with eibachs. I am thinking of changing out the front spring pads to try and even it out. Does anyone know if I can change out just the front pads even with the eibachs still installed. and if so how much do the different pad sizes lower? PLeeeze help@!!

i have the eibach springs - the gap should be larger at the pront than the rear cos th erear wheels dont turn?

have you changed the spring pads? if it bothers you that much fit thinker pads at the back than the front - but bear in mind you may confuse the cruise control (i know this happens on slks and assume clk is the same)

I was thinking about actually changing thinner pads for the front and leaving the rear as it is. Do you think this will still affect the cruise control or any other meters? also do you know how much lower each different pad makes the car? thanks!

to be honest im not sure...

there is a post elsewher on the board with the pad thickness-s....

i just know that i run #1 pads and eibach springs and mine seems quite low!

with regard to the cruise control.. i know of 2 people who have had probs when they lowered the ride height and / or tyre profile at one end only... something to do with sensors thinking the car is braking when it isnt?

the place that installed the springs can change the pads for you. It should cost about the same as the spring install because the springs must come out to swap pads

I still think that a 3 finger gap is alot for springs. I have H&R and theres only about a 1-2 finger gap with stock pads. Maybe you have the wrong springs.

It happened to me when i had my H&R's installed. I had a huge gap in the back, about 3-4 fingers. It turned out that they were springs for a CLK430 convertible, which is much heavier in the back. Now everything is perfect since the correct ones were installed.
