Ima is off on figures
Ima - Your logic is sound (wife thing and all) but your calculations are a good bit off. The stock 430 WITH Kleeman is NOT 160HP more than a CLK55. It's more like 40 (362 vs. 405 or so). I think you got Timster's CLK55 Kleeman's HP and compared it to the 209 CLK55.

208 clk55 has 342 hp..........70 hp difference

If it didn't, then I would go for the Kleemann and at 17k, and that would still be around the 209-55 price, but with almost 160 more hp than the new 55.

208 - clk55 with a Kleemann looks like it is putting out 520hp at the crank.......160hp difference
