2001 CLK 430 issues?
I was wondering if anyone else out there may have experienced some of the same things:
1) Speedometer- sometimes it is sticking at say above 55 MPH and begins to tick like a clock versus rolling smoothly?
2) Rough Idle- in drive at a stop or in park, engine seems to shake a lot. Feels like the idle is low and the car wants to stall?
3) Throttle Body/RPM- seems to stick when I let off the gas and am trying to slow down when doing about 60 MPH- RPM drops slowly and then kicks back up and down before coming to a stop?
4) Performance- seems to vary day to day and responsiveness varies day to day as well?
5) Gas Gauge- this is just a bad fuel level sended-no big deal....
The car only has 12K miles on it and is well taken care of and I just brought it in to a dealership to be checked. As usual, they are saying their are no error codes and they cannot "see or feel" the things I am claiming. I have better things to do than make this up!!!!
Any thoughts/ideas around these issues would be appreciated, thanks!

I've seen the speedometer problem before on an E430. You're going to need an entire instrument cluster. The performance problem sounds like either a bad mass-airflow sensor, or a fault in the engine control module. You may want to make sure your ME engine control unit is the lastest and greatest version, I know they have been updated several times already.

mbtech208 follow up......
I just got back my car and the only thing fixed was the gas gauge issue, they changed both fuel level senders.
Again, they said they could not duplicate any of the other problems and said no error codes came up on the computer. How can I get to the root of the technical problems with no error codes? I do not want to keep bringing in and being told they cannot find anything.
Secondly, can you elaborate on the entire dashboard cluster? What does that mean and will they have to rip open the dash etc?
Lastly, how do I find out if the ME control unit needs to be upgraded/updated?
Again, I really do appreciate your thoughts and ideas.
