W208 Remote Lock "Chirp"
My sister was driving my car one night and left the lights on overnight accidentally and in the morning I obviously had a dead battery and ever since then, my chirp disappeared. I'm also wondering how to get it back.
Here's the sound it made when it was unlocked;

I'd like to know about it too. Ever since I have owned my car, it has never made any kind of noise. That's the first time I've hear it (thanks Jessica90).
I'm not necassarily too concerned, but it would be nice to know.
1. You have to take your car to the dealer so they hook it up to the DAS system and from there they need to change it to the Netherlands setting. Your car should chirp on the Netherlands setting, but you will lose the panic feature.
2. Some said the siren for the chirp is just behind the front bumper on the frame on the driver side. You have to drop the bottom underbody panel on the bumper to get to it.
