its hard to push on my car since my springs are compressed due to the drop.
but when im driving , it can hear like something is clicking like pa pa(sound), like there is no air in the shocks and when it hit a dip in the road, i can feel lthat the shock hits..i could be wrong but i wanted to know b4 i order the damn shock

if u drive and the car just continually bounces more than usual after a bump, the shocks are blown...it'll be hard to tell if its only coming from 1 corner though

its hard to tell but on the long term it can effect your tire wear [i.e cupping, uneven wear, etc.] you might feel like your car takes longer to brake and nose dives easily. you're right, the compressed springs will make it harder to feel any bounce in the car. you can also visually inspect them to see if there is any moisture around the shock. my suggestion is to change them. most shocks last about 50-60k miles. hope that helps

99CLK320,
from what you are describing it sounds like something is loose. a worn shock won't necessarily make a sound. the car, like the previous posters described, will be to handle differently.

AMG
If leaking, they'll need replacement.
