Replace 99 CLK320 stock wheels?
I have a black 99 CLK320 with OEM rims (quite ugly). I want to change them and was looking at the AMG 5-spoke thin ones.
If I go 18' do I need to change my suspension, brakes or anything else? I've read some posts where people say they driving/handling seemed weird after going to 18', should I just go with the 17' inch ones?
Also what do you all think about the AMG replica's any experiences (good/bad)?
thanks, Tony.

I would recommend going with 18s strictly for asthetics... i don't think handling will be effect too much.
obviously, with the new type of tires you put, plus the low profile, you'll get a more bumpy ride, and have a tendancy to follow cracks on the road.
you don't really need to change anything if you don't want to. however, if your goal is to make your car look sportier, then i recommend changing your suspension along with the rims. just remember to get an alignment done
