W208 CLUSTER SWAP QUESTION...
I KNOW THIS IS A TIMELESS ISSUE WITH PROBABLY A GAZILLION POSTS/THREADS BUT I SEARCHED AND COULDNT FIND THIS QUESTION/ANSWER.....WILL THE REPLACEMENT CLUSTER SHOW MY CARS CORRECT MILEAGE OR THE MILEAGE OF THE DONER CAR? I COULDNT FIND SPECIFIC ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION...THANX FOR YOUR HELP..

It will show the mileage of the donor car. In order to have the correct mileage shown you will have to take it to the dealership to have it reset. (too expensive) or you can take it in to a shop and have them place some type of sticker stating that the correct mileage at the time of the swap.

You could also look for a shop that has the Star Diagnose or aftermarket equivalent computer. The gear has been out for a while and non-dealer shops are out there with it.
