Q: remove secondary catalatic converter in TX
Looking around I've read that some of you have removed the secondary cats. I have one that is rattling (the one that splits into two below the driver/pass seats). Has anyone done this in TX?
I'd like to cut those two out and just straight pipe it at that end. If and when the primary's go out, I'll replace them with magnaflows.
Thoughts?

Before you replace the primary cats make sure that the heat shield located right under the primary cats has not broken a tab loose. I thought I had some bad cats a while back and it turned out to be that 2 out of the 4 heat shield tack welds had broken and were causing a mettalic noise.
