There is no mention of it in the owner's manual, and the dealer could only find the one close to the centre of the rear seat. we are installing the baby seat behind the passenger seat.

Have a look under the rear head rest - that's where they are located on the CL. - Perhaps same on the CLK??

I don't believe that the '00 has the rear hook restraints...earlier than required by US

My 2000 430 definitely doesnt have them.

2000 models will not have the anchors as stated above.
