Steering wheel reach adjustment
Hi,
I have just got my first MB. a 99 CLK 230 kompressor.
Please can some one tell me how I adjust the steering wheel reach? I have looked avery where and can't find out how to do it.

02 clk 55, 13 GL 450
Not sure if they changed this with different models, but mine is in the center at the base of the column. Pull the latch out and your column should slide in and out.

I did have a look round earlier today and couldn't see a catch.

Mine is at the bottom of my steering wheel as well but its a MY00.

Funny thing is that I could not find it either. I have a 2001 CLK 200 Kompressor. Also does not look like it was somewhere there and it is broken, maybe i will post some pics of that area. I also have the memory package for seats/mirrors/steering column as the old.ru/VIN site says, but can't figure out how to adjust the steering column.

I have a 02 and thought it would be power but you have to release the lever under the wheel then pull or push the wheel to where you want then lock the lever back.

did they ever release this car without the reach adjustemnt?
i have looked all around the under the steering wheel and foot wel and I cant find a lever.
