Audio 10 unit--what is it?

The MB Audio 10 CD is an in-dash CD head unit that's offered either as a factory option or as an accessory in European M-B models. It's made by Becker.
FYI, the standard cassette head unit in the W208 is called the "MB Audio 30 ECE" in Europe.
I'm pretty sure it will fit in a W208 without COMAND, but it doesn't have phone integration features like the Audio 30, so you may want to think about that if you have an M-B phone.

Guys, you can have an Audio 10 with a cassette or an Audio 10 CD.
If the car is fitted with a CD changer they would put the cassette version in.
My CLK430 had the cassette version with the cd changer in the boot until I swapped for an Audio 30 APS navigation unit which fits in the same slot. Just needed to get the In dash display enabled by the dealer to show the navigation in the display.
This is in the UK.

Hi Paul, you should be able to pick one up off of ebay for about 500 to 600 euros including CD. I then got it fitted (antenna fitting + control wiring) at a local audio company (£100 ish) + £70 at the dealer to get the in dash display to work but that's obviously a personal preference and not a requirement to get it to work.
