The side mirror issue
Hello!
has anybody changed the side mirrors in a 1998-99 model into the ones with turn indicators?
Just got mine and i think it should be a nice improvement

Changing the mirrors is pretty simple.
Pull off the tweeter speaker and the small triangular plastic panel and you will have access to the 3 screws that attach the mirror. There is also a wiring harness and connectors for all the electricals (e.g. mirror heating, turn signal, adjusting motor)....be care not to let it slip down into the door.
Don't know if the 98/99 has the same wiring harness as the 00/01 models.
