HELP CLK ACTING WEIRD!!

so im having a problem with my clk. whenever its in P or N, the throttle goes up. it revs up to about 1500-2000rpm for no reason, but when i press on the brake it goes down. ive looked on the net and ppl are saying its the cold weather, but even after ive been driving for half the day, when i go to park the car, the engine still revs up. its fine when im driving, never felt the car launch foward by itself.

Nah... nothing to do with that....

Ignoring the accelerator pedal position, the main measured variable for determining the fuel volume is the air mass supplied to the engine, and determined by the hot film mass air flow sensor.

So I would suspect your MAF.

I had the same problem with mine last week. It turned out to be a vac leak. Here a pic...
