2001 CLK A/C problems??

Has anyone had problems with their air conditioning? When I turn on the a/c , for example, at the lowest level, it will all of a sudden blast high and then low- very sporadically. Of course, when I take it to the dealer, they can't 'duplicate the problem'. *sigh.

You may have it under the full Auto mode, where the speed of the fan is adjusted based on the speed you are going.

Another posibility is that you have a defective A/C controller... i think this is a fairly common problem. Try and get the dealer to swap it out for a new one under warranty if the problem persists.

You have a bad blower motor voltage regulator. This controls how much power goes to the blower motor, and in turn how much air comes out of the vents. These commonly go bad, especially on the CLK, E-Class, and S-Class. I'm surprised your dealer didn't replace it, even if they couldn't duplicate it. It's a well-known malfunction.
