windscreen make a difference?
i have a 99 clk 320. it didn't come with the snap in windscreen that goes behind the front seats. does this part really make that much difference in top down driving? trying to figure out if it's worth the money.

I find that it reduces the turbulence and noise significantly.
There are 2 sections....a upper horizontal section covering the back seating area and a vertical section (pulls up from under the back seat).
My BWM cabrio wind screen comprised of only a horizontal section, which I found quite effective as well.

Yes, the windscreen is a must if you a cabrio. It's so effective you can use the seat warmers, A/C, have music playing and talk to a passenger and not even know the top is down.
If you can get one for pretty cheap (don't go through the dealer), get it!

Well worth it. My wife would never put the top down until we got the wind deflector. Huge difference.
Oh my....YES! It makes a HUGE difference. In my most humble opinion, if you are going to get a windscreen, do so from Windblox. They got a lot of options (particularly when it comes to tinting and mounting) and they have a lifetime warranty. For $100, that deserves "nuff' said." Lol.

No, the 208 and 209 screens are totally different. I've never tried fitting a 209 screen onto a 208 but we've owned both and the screens are different attachment methods.
