Xenon Headlights
Hello, I have another question for the all knowing minds...
Is it possible to take a ~2001 CLK55 with the xenon headlight option, and convert it to regular HID? When I buy the car, I would like to do a headlight and taillight swap, but I haven't found any aftermarket headlights for the xenon equipped versions. I would think it would be simply swapping ballasts and headlights correct? Or is it more in-depth with relays and stuff I dont want to get into?

What do you mean convert Xenon to regular HID? You likely already have HID.
If you mean put in aftermarket headlamps, I believe all you need to do is a get a bulb adapter since those only take H7 and the OEM Xenon bulbs are D2S.
