so i got my wiring for sub, amp, cap and deck put in profesionaly just a few months after i got the car. now its been 2 years and i want to buy a deck probably some pimp *** alpine model off someone for cheap , so i know everything will just be plug and play cause i already have the adapter hooked up right now that fits alpine. i just need to know how to get my deck out with out ripping anything.

 

usually a set of tools come with the am deck. if you don't have those, probably any stereo shop would pop it out for you.

remove the adapter its easy it just pops out, then do the deck very easy...

I removed the Becker unit by taking the car to a shop, they have a set of keys that slide in and pop the unit out. They did it for free because I bought a harness.

My clarion came with a set of keys that slide in when you remove the face.
