2000 CLK320 Help w Problems: key fob/Remote, P0400 P0700
Hello. I have 2000 CLK 320 w couple problems that I wish someone could help me out with.
First of all, I have been having problems with the remote / key fob. Sometimes, when I push the unlock button, the red light on the remote goes on but it won't open the car or anything(lock, unlock, unlock trunk, panic all of them will not work). Then if I wait awhile and try again, it works. It does this intermittently and is very annoying. What could be the problem? I have replaced the battery in the remote so its not the battery remote. remote sensor? the remote itself?
Secondly, my dash is lit up like a christmas tree. it says BAS on the dash I had the codes read and it gives P0400 and P0700 codes. What do I need to do to get this fixed?
