okay, i know there are a lot of posts about convertible top problems. i've read them but mine doesn't do exactly what those are.

i undo the hatch, and all the windows go down. but the button doesn't blink, there is no sound, nothing, it just doesn't go back. the windows won't go up or down either at this point, even if i close the hatch. i have to turn the engine off and back on and then the windows will work.

the roll bar goes up and down just fine. the trunk thing is closed for the top to fold down.

it just stopped working.

If the system resets its self with a key cycle i would suspect the controller. Not sure on that one so a scan on the star machine would be my next step. Ive seen used controllers on ebay in the $250-$400 range which is wayyyy better than the $1200 or so at the dealer.

Make sure the roof's storage box is positioned properly.

When it's pulled out on the rails to lock, make sure the the bottom corner of the vertical partition is on top of the micro switch lever.

Doubt this is it, as if this was the problem the light would blink rapidly.
