wood Door trim removal question.
My passenger trim around the seat switches was cracked. I got another piece of trim but cannt get out the old one. I Search on this forum and others. Nothing was real straight forward.
A post by Thrillkill said it just pops off. I pried with a putty knife and the switch looks like its gonna break. I dont want to break the seat switch. any help? This was the last of my weeks to do's for the car. I had a box of stuff to put on but I was waiting for my drivers seat to get restitched. Any help especially with pics would be GREAT!

Great....I was going to suggest the following.
Inspection of the replacement part would provide a pretty good idea of how things come apart, go together.
I've found that with a call/visit to the dealer, they will provide answers to questions.

Had just put on sport pedals, rearview camera, hood buffers and flat emblem. Everything went well up until the trim. I didnt want to break something while fixing another. I couldnt tell the switch clips into the trim. Impatience is a bad thing to have. I hadn't thought about asking the dealer, but I will file that one away for later use. Thank you for the advice.
