how to remove mid armrest/cup holder?

how to remove mid armrest/cup holder?
i need to be able to remove this to add the lid for the cup holder again.
anyone have a how too guide on this?
probably have to remove a whole lot of parts! oh well

Remove it?? Maybe im missing something but I dont see your cup holder installed?? like the post above though it is a simple tug up and the whole useless assembly comes out so you can put your tall coffee there without the worry of it falling over!

yeah i was thinking about the entire thingy 
was gonna mount the cover for the cup holder but it was harder then i thought, but it works some what now :P just no springs! hehe anyways got it installed

if you want to remove the cupholder housing, you have to take off the center consel and then flip it upside down and you will see 4 screws holding the cupholder housng but because they are upside down you can't unscrew them without turning the complete center counsel upside down. good luck.

1.open the armrest and there are 2 screws under the bottom carpet liner take those off.
2.pop out the stereo, center wood piece(the one with the window switches), take off complete climate control unit and wood piece.
3. there is a plastic T shape cover under the armrest bottons that you use to open the armrest storage, pop that out and tere are 2 screws that hold the leather top piece in place, take those off.
4. take off ashtray housing which are two screws to the left and right of the shifter,
5. there are two clips that hold the leather frame to the center conssul they are behind the climate control on the left and rigt wall pop thise out and there are two screws behind them a little further back take those out as well.
6. there are two ac/heater vents in the foot area on the center consul wall, one on the right under the dash and one on the right under the dash area, they have a twist lock plastic screw, pop those out
7.now you can take off the center consul and install everything back in reverse order.
