I'm guessing that is an estimation / guestimation without a Dyno. Same estimation/guestimation as what Kleemen states. Let us know what numbers your dyno pulls.

Make sure that you change all four O2 sensors so that you don't encounter any problems. Good luck.

Hi sorry I just want to show off again my header =) hope you guys don't mind. I guess your dealer were wrong about the only set in North America.

99CLK320,
I exchanged numerous emails w/Kleeman in Colo Spgs. The price was around $1500 + $600to install and that included a chip tune. The install would have eliminated the primary cats, the chip tune would have eliminated that reading, which would have hosed any CA cars. I like Mel's idea of the short tube header which bolt on as is, and no additional mods. Good question as to what the final hrspwr gain will finally be. Jimmy, did you Powerchip ever come to Japan and get your ECU right?

99CLK320,
Bowie, was the 18-20 gain a before an after dyno or the Kleeman claim?

Hi RJBowie,

My car is exactly like yours and I am installing the modified v8-to-v6 kleemann headers too! I am just curious when u mention o2 sensor, is that the same as MAF? Thanks mate. I am hoping to get the same results as yours, cross my finger.

Cheers,
Olie

99CLK320,
there are two O2 sensors for US cars, two on each side, one before an one after the primary cats which go bye-bye with the Kleeman long tube headers. Olie, if you are having Kleeman do the install they will/should take care of the ECU settings. I see you are in Indonesia; you may not even have primary and secondary sensors like Jimmy's Japanese model.

I will try to respond to everyone. Been away for a bit. It's ok for hijacking the thread. It's not that big of a deal about not having the only headers in US. I hope everyone who has a V6 who wants headers gets them through Kleemann or some other company. It is what I was told by Kleemann at my time of purchase. The gains in HP were after the dyno and not just a kleemann claim. It would be best to change out the O2 sensors if you put in the new headers. It would also be a good idea to change the cats depending on the mileage on them. I got a check engine light until I corrected the above problems. I purchased my headers through the Workshop MB in Emeryville, CA. They are an authorized Kleemann dealer in Nothern California. Best of luck to everyone and thanks for the comments.
