Does anyone have access to diagnostic codes?
Fellas, I have a 98 CLK320. The engine service light came on and I had an indipendant shop pull up the diagnostic codes. Can anyone tell me what they referr to. The #s are p0173-1, and po170-1. Thanks in advance

No tuning. Service light is on and the
computer is spitting out these diagnostic codes. The service light keeps lighting up afer it is reset. Are these the codes? Are they a problem? Any self fix to avoid a nice service charge at the stealer? Thnks fo rhe help.

Bank 1/2 are the left and right sides of the engine. A fuel trim malfunction means that fuel is not properly being delivered. You should get it fixed promptly to avoid any later complications.

You can replace the sensor yourself, but your dealer will have to erase the fault codes and reset the fuel-trim adaptations, or the light will come right back on.
