underdrive pulley
Does anyone know if by changing the underive pulley to an aftermamrket one will this void Mercedes warranty. Also has anyone done this and if so do you feel its a good choice for an upgrade.
I have tried posting in the tech forum but have received no response |
If no one answers ur questions, write an e-mail to Ben@evosport.com , he should know the answers. He can hook u up with those UD pulleys too.

I've had my underdrive pullies well over 9 months now...and just had my B service done...no problems/complaints from the service writer/techs. In fact I don't think they even notice :D

Do you mind if I ask what you paid for your pulleys and where you got them from. Thanks in advance

Is that 499.00 installed? I would like to get some but I currently reside in the Washington DC area. Can you recommend someone to install them or would I have to ship to you directly? Thanks
|
$499 does not include installation. The V8 CLK's require about 3 hours of installation, and can be performed at any shop that knows what they're doing... All you are doing is changing 3 pulleys and a belt. If they have a pulley puller, it should be a breeze. I am not aware of any installation facilities in the D.C. area, but maybe someone on the board can recommend one to you. You are always welcome to ship the car to us, but the costs involved far outweigh the gains IMO.
