underdrive pulley

Does anyone know if by changing the underive pulley to an aftermamrket one will this void Mercedes warranty. Also has anyone done this and if so do you feel its a good choice for an upgrade.
I have tried posting in the tech forum but have received no response

I've had my underdrive pullies well over 9 months now...and just had my B service done...no problems/complaints from the service writer/techs. In fact I don't think they even notice

Do you mind if I ask what you paid for your pulleys and where you got them from. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the compliment, I'm thinking of getting those UD pulleys too.

We (evosport) are the only ones who make/sell them for the Mercedes. They are $499, and will add another 13hp at the rear wheels. Give me a call or email when you can, and I will answer any questions you may have.

Thanks,
Ben

00 CLK 320
Is that 499.00 installed? I would like to get some but I currently reside in the Washington DC area. Can you recommend someone to install them or would I have to ship to you directly? Thanks

$499 does not include installation. The V8 CLK's require about 3 hours of installation, and can be performed at any shop that knows what they're doing... All you are doing is changing 3 pulleys and a belt. If they have a pulley puller, it should be a breeze. I am not aware of any installation facilities in the D.C. area, but maybe someone on the board can recommend one to you. You are always welcome to ship the car to us, but the costs involved far outweigh the gains IMO.
