CLK 430 Tail Light Problem

I have a 2001 clk 430 i just replaced my tail light with some i got from ebay, on the trunk there is a part of the tail lights on both sides, The new tail lights came with bulbs where the stock ones did not, there is factory wires ran for them but there is no power for back up or running lights, is there a fuse or something that will turn these on? since they ran wires to them i would assume there is something to run them? Any help would help.

I replaced mine with ebay "clears" on the top part. It looked 10x better-

But from what I recall everything was plug and play , didnt have extra wires or anything that made me think twice.

2001 clk 430
The part i am talking about is the two lenses on the trunk door, my factory lenses didnt have bulbs but did have factory wires plugged into them so the new set came with a back up bulb and a lower bulb, so when i plug in the harness the bulbs dont work, so i wonder since my car from the factory didnt have bulbs but was pre wired for them if there is a fuse or something i need to do to turn them on,
