No more CLK430

Well as of 4-9-03 I am no longer the proud driver of my CLK430.
The lease ran up and I habded her back in!!
Oh well, the $500 deposit for the W211 E55 will make me feel better. Unfortunately don't know when I'll get it. Dealer said "sometime in the fall".
Its been fun being a member of the CLK club, but I have to go now.
I'll miss everyone:p

Well, since you were proud to drive your CLK, you must have had an overall satisfying experience with it! How many miles had you clocked when you turned it in, and were they relatively trouble free?

Congrats on the E55 order, it's a great car!

Well, it was the end of a 4 year lease. I was allowed 60K miles and I only had 46K when I turned her in. They were all trouble free and very fun miles. I never beat on her, but I would spin the tires alot!!!
Overall the only reason I'm not getting a CLK55 is that I need the extra 2 doors. I'm very tall and if I had four people in the car, whoever was behind me was suffering. And I"m not liking the new body style that much. I always liked the look of the E class...thats why the CLK W208 appealed to me....it was like a 2 door E class. But now they are totally different, and I still like the E class. Just personal preference....thats all.
Overall my expierence with the W208 was excellent....highly recommended!!!
I can only imagine how great the W208 CLK55 is!
