How remove hood on CLK ?

How remove hood on CLK (W208) ?

Is hood removed with hinges attached to hood,
or is hood removed from hinges, and hinges remain attached to vehicle ?

Any step by step instructions, info and/or images would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks, that is most helpful.
I had made an instructional during the jog:

Instructional on Removing hood on W208
1. Open the hood, releasing the latch at the right side hinge, allowing the hood to move to its most vertical position.
2. Remove the small plastic hatch, on the inside of the hood near the left hinge.
3. Disconnect the two electrical plugs on the hatch. Set the hatch aside
4. Compress the washer spout latch from under the hood, and pull the washer spout out from the top of the hood, taking with it the wire lead of from 2-3 feet. Note #1, Turn the washer spout 90 degrees and wriggle it free from the fluid hose. Note #2, the right side washer has a white nylon electrical connector and a metal spade connector about two feet from the washer, which you can get to and disconnect by pushing and pulling on the wire to manipulate it to one of the cavity openings under the hood. Pull the Washer spout and its wiring out from the top side of the hood.
5. Once the fluid hoses are freed from the washers, you can pull the washer hose out from the hatch near the left side hinge.
6. Have two friends help. one at each side of the hood, supporting the hood near the hinge areas.
7. Use a small probing hook to release the sprig clip at each dampener (lifting shock) where it attaches to the hinge ball, and disconnected each damper from the hinge, then lay them aside, out of the way.
8. Remove the 3 10MM bolts on each hinge, and remove the hood.
