Question ! How to mod. CLK320 ....
Hi guys , maybe this is a stupid question , but i m thining to mod. my stock clk320 , yr 00 , to gain upto 250HP .
rite now , all I know what to do is , mod.
air intake , header and clip ( i'd choose this superchip.co.uk , since my friend is using it on his bmw e36 , and he recommends )
could u guys pls give me some suggestion on what parts I should mod. without costing too much money ?

by modding the exhaust and straight pipe , would it be too loud ?
since I got a bad experience on my ex-prelude by modding the exhaust , it is TOO noise , especially reding on Hwy , made me feel headsche
therefore , i m wondering is there any brand exhaust and pipe without too loud sound which I can choose ? ( i dun wanna lose the peace and comfort

I have a Remus exhaust on my CLK and it is not that loud at all. It is a little louder than stock when you are accelerating, but noothing extreme. On my C-coupe I have an eisneman Race exhaust without a resonator, that setup is probably a lot louder than you want on your CLK. Eisneman has other mufflers that aren't as loud, but Remus is a good muffler that is not to loud and it looks really good. Call Carl at bergwerks.com if your interested he can get you one.
If you straight pipe the car though it will be louder though.

is the Remus exhaust incl. resonator , which makes it not too loud ?
also, i can't access bergwerks.com in order to see the looking of Remus exhaust , do u have any pic. to show me ? thx

I can try to get a pick of the CLK posted this weekend. Weathers not to good right now to get it out of the garage and take pics. The remus is resonator back.
I have dual 83mm rally tips for the muffler. If you look at remus's site you can see what options there are. I don't know if headers make it louder. I would guess they make it a bit louder but Im waiting until this summer to get mine.

is rally tips look like it in the pic ( red circle ) ?
well , i'd like to say that i more prefer it as flat , so i have to choose 2 x 90 Carbon $599 for instead ? or other style .. !?
but I may change my mind when see ur pic of clk , awaiting now , hehe
btw , any comment about the Kleemann Exhaust ?

I don't know specifically anything about the Kleemann exhaust, but I am sure that it is high quality. Wait until you see the pics of my remus though. Then decide about flat tips or rally. The rally tips are more unusual.
