leaking oil :/
So i went home this weekend after my car had been sitting for a month and when i moved it there was a decent size stain in the gravel where oil had been leaking..i checked the oil level and it was kinda low so i added a half a quart..however, i noticed what looked like pretty fresh oil on the top half of the motor..i had no time this weekend to look into it, but would appreciate any feedback..thanks

Since you mentioned fresh oil on the top of the engine, by chance, did you have an oil service before letting it sit for a month?
If the large upper O ring is not installed correctly, the filter cap will leak.
I noticed that the last filter I ordered came with instructions pertaining to properly installing the cartridge and large O ring (e.g. there must have been some problems).

no the last oil change i did was in june/july and when i did the oil change i noticed that there was a little bit of oil around the motor, but now there seems to be a lot more
