Tinting
Can anyone point me to a good site on tinting, or, if anyone has the smoked looking tint, can you tell me how it was done? In no way does it appear to be a sheet. It looks either sprayed or baked on.
Any ideas?

It is a 3M product, it's a very thin film that is applied to the window with a water and soap solution. It is cut to fit your window. It comes in many different shades from a clear UV protection and 90% to 5% darkness. Each percentage is darker starting with 90% being the lightest. I have 30% all around on my CLK55 AMG and 20% on top of my alread factory tinted Denali. 5% is considered Limo tint. It's very dark and hard to see out of, or in for that mater. There are installers just about every were. I have tinted all my vehicles and have never had a problem (Lucky I guess). Check you local and state vehicle codes for legal limits.
Stay away from the spray on kind, it's a mess.
You can usually get your car done for $200.00 or less.
Best of luck to ya,
Tim
