Unhappy i want to mod my car.....where can i get it done in the ChicagoLand area.....HELP!!!

Looking to mod suspension, springs, sway-bar, pads and wheels.

Anybody tried the:

Pades #2 9mm for Front
and
Pades #3 5mm for Rear

Set up? How do they look and how's the ride comfort?

Thinking to get
235/40 - 18x8.5 F
265/35 - 18x9.5 R
How are those setups? Anyone tried them? Would I need to roll my fenders? Is that even possible in a CLK430?

Any info would be appreciated.

You typically want to keep the same size difference that your car comes with in terms of pads. Your 430 should be a number 4 in front, and 3 in rear. If you were to go to smaller pads, I'd suggest either a 2 in front/1 in rear, or 3 front/2 rear. Changing the pads will effect negatively affect your ride comfort, but it may not be enough to bother you.

As for suspension, I've had 2 separate kits on my car, and while I definitely love my new one, I've been happy with both. I changed my sway bars to the same size thickness as the 55 as well.
