removing door trim
Hi all
Do I need to know anything special when removing the door trim?
Is there anything I need to know about the airbags? Do I just pop it off like normal or do I need to disarm the airbags?

I took mine on and off on both doors a couple of times without disarming them. Wouldn't even know how. Only two issues I had were one of the plastic clips broke (u need to be careful with them, they are old and brittle) and the first time I didn't set the rubber gasket properly against the glass on the inside of the car so I got a whistling noise. Other than that it's a pretty easy job, there are instructions around here.

i did it without disconnecting the battery, but i believe there is a chance of the airbags deploying by accident if you do not disconnect your battery. Someone else should have the correct answer.

I didn't disconnect mine either and pulled on the door pretty hard. As long as no wires get disconnected you will be fine. When you slam the door every day it still doesn't trigger it so just mechanical shock should not be an issue.
