2003 CLK
I ordered a CLK 320 coupe a few weeeks ago to be built to order. My dealer informed me today that the 2002 assembly line (at least, for coupes) had been shut down to change over to 2003 production.
Does anyone have any info about the 2003 CLK? The salesman said that it would have a "facelift," and that the new cars will be in showrooms in May or June. AutoWeek says that "The new C- Class platform will spawn a new CLK in '03." That's all I know.
I have to decide whether to take delivery (more or less) now on a car that has been "discontinued" and doesn't quite meet my specs, or wait about six months for an '03. Any help regarding this decision would be appreciated.

This seems extremely odd... The 2002 CLK's just came out in the summer, it just does not seem right that they would stop production on them when its not even December of 2001. I would definetly check into this more. Also the 2003 CLK's look horrible. They look like an extended C-Coupe, i'm sorry but I just would not want a car that could be mistaken for a C-Coupe.

In your reply, you imply that you've seen pictures of the 2003 CLK coupe. Is there an Internet site that displays such pictures and (hopefully) a description of new features?
