The price is just about right. If you get them from tirerack, they are $400+shipping.
I have them but I havent put them on, so I can't tell you how it feels.

Match those with some H&R's and you will not be dissapointed. I have H&R's and Bilstein sports and I love it. But from what I have heard the Bilstein sports are a little harsh for some people. Koni and H&R, I would say is probably the preferred set-up of this board. Well, maybe the Kleeman full suspension is preferred but if cost is any factor either get the Koni's or Bilstein's and H&R's and you will be amazed at the difference in handling. I have had my car lowered for about 40,000 of it's 47,000 miles. The improvement in handling is about 45-50% in my opinion!! Personally if I was going to spend the big bucks on a 'name' brand suspension I would go with Kleeman but those prices are too rich for my blood!

Here is a link to my car lowered with H&R's and Bilstein sport shocks with factory spring pads

Pffelan, there is this Koni sportline springs that can lower you car between 1.75"-2.25".
So, I think Koni can lower you car more.
Correct me if Im wrong

Go with the H&R/Koni combo w/ CLK55 (which are Eibach) sway bars.

2001 CLK55
what about camber?

How are you guys (especially the ones who have already done it) handling the tire-chewing camber change from the lowering?

My tires are lasting me about 50% longer than they did prior to lowering the car. Depending on how one drives, most Mercedes (especially CLK owners) find themselves wearing the outer corners of the tires. Adding a couple degrees of negative camber not only helps the handling, but also helps balance out the tire wear.

Supra,

How much do you want to lower your car? 1.5" or 2"?

hi

I 'd say 1.5" is what I like to have , coz I dun want the car will be too low ( it is becoz I got a bad experience on my ex-prelude , by using the H&R racing springs , the car's underside always crash on the ground in the parking >< )
but I duno if 2" would be still okay ....
thx in advice

I think 2" drop would be too low.

How is the road there?
