clk320
Convertible Top not working
I just became a member today and tried to find a thread that addresses my problem. I couldn't though I assume others may have the same problem. I need help...suggestions.
I have a 1999 CLK 320. When I unlock the convertible top all the windows retract as they should. I then push up on the top which should go up slightly. It doesn't. It feels like a dead weight. Any suggestions?

Search again....very common issue and there is lots information on repairing it.

'99 CLK 320 Cabriolet
Is the car new to you, ie has this changed? I sometimes need to turn the handle again, push up then release the handle as the latches catch again
