I can't find the slip, but my best time was a 13.9.

Chappy's time being 13.3 for his 55, I'd say the mods on your 430 are doing a fine job Mel. Engineer that you are, is there any one mod you've done, be it intake, pulley kit, or exhaust, that you can say made the biggest improvement? TIA,DB

I pulled a 13.18 at 107mph. Stock. Shut up a whole bunch of Ford guys.

I aired up the fronts to about 50 psi, kept the rears at 35. Moved all the contents of the cabin to the trunk. The front half of the airbox removed to help heat dissipation between runs. Just under a half tank of gas. I haven't yet tried to launch without the spare tire etc. all removed from my car. That's for the spring when the track opens back up. I wanna see just how quick a stock CLK can be.

I'm thinking the full exhaust made the biggest improvement. I need to get a better tune though....

99CLK320,
If I remember correctly, you have the down tubes you fabricated w/o cats and moved the second O2 sensors back of the secondary cats(?) and kept the first sensor where it was. Are your cats high flow? Did you keep the resonator and oem muffler? If you have reduced back pressure did you lose low end torque? Are we there yet? Can I have a drink of water? TIA, DB
P.S. Yeah, do the chip tune and get a Sprintbooster. HUGE>

It was all custom fabbed. Headers made 34rwhp alone. I was not running a muffler, custom tune from a local guy that works at a shop. Sorry, the support for these things isn't really as great as I had hoped. I'm sure you guys know. So custom was the way I had to go
