Had factory installed OEM hands free phone in my car, Star Tak (no NAV). Has been obsolete for years. Blue tooth puck, etc. seem like a lot of $, and don't appear to be compatible with my HTC EVO phone.
Would like to install a new radio with these features--
1. blue tooth
2. Hands free phone;
3. wireless audio streaming;
4. work with existing steering wheel buttons;
5. Also, my phone has a nice NAV system, and a hdmi interface. I wonder if there is a way to get my phone's NAV to pop up on a radio screen, which means, a radio with a big video screen, and some sort of video interface.
Can anyone recommend a radio ?

#i use a ~SONY MEX..works great with bluetooth handsfree on my HTC Desire and bluetooth streaming too... no wires just play all songs from phone..! Also has USB, Aux in, CD, mp3

how did the adapt to steering controls
If you could, how were you able to adapt the steering controls to the sony radio. I have the stock nav and want to upgrade the radio. thanks. any pictures also would be great.

This is what I did. My steering wheel controls control my Alpine X305. A PAC SWI-PS will work with a Sony.
