Water in driver side of trunk...help!

All,
I have read the earlier posts regarding water in the trunk of a CLK. My neighbor works for an auto body shop that does high volumes for Mercedes. I have been getting water only on the driver side of my trunk when it rains and asked for his help. He spoke to a mechanic from MB and then checked all seals and blew out all of the drains with compressed air. The foam seal around the trunk appears to be in great shape and aligned properly and the drains seem to be clear. He even got inside the trunk and had someone use a hose. He could not duplicate the problem. I am still getting water when it rains! Not inches, but enough to drench the towel that I leave in there for protection. Any other ideas? I would appreciate it!

I have the same issue and it causes electrical feedback through the sound system. Can anyone help identifying where the drain tubes are, if any...
