hey everyone, as you all know i have been working on a vented hood to get rid of some engine bay heat and also making sure they look good as well. I made two of these hoods and they are both made of original OEM MB hoods, no aftermarket or fiberglass. the vents are made of ABS high temp plastic. I was making the second one for a friend of mine but his CLK is out of comission for good due to an bad accident at the track. so here is your chance to own this one off hood. there are only two of them and i wont be producing them as they are a paint in my behind. this one is priced to sell as i dont have the room to keep it and the other one is on my car. the vents drop temps under your hood significantly and make the front of the car more stable and get rid of the hot air balloon efect and the engine runs much cooler. the vents are designed for year round use so they are away from your electricals and water sensetive parts and have been tested on my car for the past 2 months during the heavy rains in CA and 5 car washes. my asking price is $450 which is basically less than the price the hood itself. like i said i am pricing this too move not trying to get rich. and fitment is perfect as it is an oem hood.

P.S. the hood is sanded and ready to paint.

Thanks DL. i know its not for everyone, but they do lower the underhood temp significantly that i can feel the car run better and cooler.
