i was just wonder if anyone has ever painted their moldings (the black lips all around the bottom of the car) on their CLK320? to make it look more like 00 n up CLK? cause i hate that black stuff...makes the car so ugly? deciding if i should jus paint it to match the rest of the car or if i need to go to the dealer and order the lips off the 00 n up CLK320. thanks

i'd go for the new factory silver ones.

the color would probably be a closer match also.

i called the dealer and they took me that it doesn't come painted...so wouldn't it be the same as paintin the one i have now? also wondering if the lips on my car now are made of the same materials as the 00 n up lip. thanks

If you have a good body shop, they can do the appropriate prep work to make it look good. It's pretty much a trade off since they will require more prep work than a set of unpainted newer skirts. Save your money and get yourself a nice kit! ;0)
