Rear Lower Control Arm Bushing

Hello All,

Has anyone replaced their lower control arm bushing? Its located in the bottom of the rear spindle where the lower control arm installs on to. Please see picture attached, its circled in red #2.

Im assuming you need to use a press but I have heard where you can get some sort of a tool to pull it out without removing the spindle from the car. Any ideas?
Thanks

Wheel Carrier Bushing same as Inner bush for Rear Upper Arms!!

I am in the midst or rebuilding my entire rear and I did replace both of these Bushings (A211 352 08 65) for the Rear Carriers using a threaded rod, a PVC Plumbing fitting to recieve the bush and washers. Since I still have my Carrier un-installed I measured them and they are exactly the same Bushings that must be used for both (Camber & Tension) Upper Arms as they attach to the Subframe. If it weren't for the concave radius aspect of each bush they connect to the Rear Carrier, they would be the same there as well! If I had a lathe, I'd be tempted to attempt "fitting" them to the Carrier side and install them in the arms! I am tempted to go ahead and install them to the Subframe Side! Now it's a matter if finding someone with a lathe to trim sum bush to fit the Carrier side!!! Oh, and save $600 in the process of renewing the bushes as compared to being forced to buy new Arms!!!
