I had a surprise yesterday. Looked at the front of my AMG kitted 430, and the slim silver body colour trim bar that runs from fog light to fog light was completely missing!

Anyone else had this fall off/stolen?

Its a £170(US$280) fix painted, so not best pleased...

Well, I got the part, went to get a paint quote, and came home wth a bunch of bad news price wise...whole car needs a lot of paint/bodywork. Totals 3k$s worth. It's surely not worth it with current car values.

Also my good lady said "remember when we went to lunch and you bumped into the kerb when you parked and I said that sounds bad", and you said ''oh it's nothing..." Yes I remember now, the damage was self inflicted.

So, spirits are down at the moment, garage also said I need a new MAF and the AMG suspension seems way hard and not riding right....rear still squiggles over man hole covers on the left rear wheel dispite a new bush and garage saying it's fine.

I feel your pain. My front right shock is toast. My CPS gave out on me in rush our trafic last night and replacing it didnt fix my searching idle. BUT today on the way home when I get on the freeway and punch it.... it will all be worth while.
