Any suggestions on how to prevent oxidation on new projectors.

Wondering how to prevent oxidation on my new projectors. I have heard of a protectant film you can apply over them, Has anyone tried anything like this, I have seen projectors already oxidized on other CLK's. Thats horrible, I want these to stay CRYSTAL CLEAR. any help or suggestions is always appreciated.

Anything you can do to prevent UV rays hitting the headlamps.

3M film is advisable, parking under a covered spot if possible and avoiding direct sunlight for extended periods of time and completely drying the car after washing are really the only things you can to avoid oxidation.

Just the nature of plastic, especially as the aftermarkets probably use more cost effective (i.e. cheaper) plastic than OEM.
