Heading back to my car after lunch today, noticed that I have a busted fog light (right side, FWIW). Busted, as in no clear glass left at all.

No malfunctions register in the MFD, until (of course) I turned on the fog lights. Since I haven't used my fog lights in weeks, I have no idea how long I've been running around one-eyed.

Anybody got an idea about replacement cost? I didn't take the time to crawl around in the parking lot and look - is R&R fairly straight forward? Wondering if I'll want to swap it out myself.

Que sara, sara I guess!

Unfortunately, you have to buy the whole light. On AMG package cars, they don't sell the lens separatel like they do on the "normal" cars.

Unhappy 187.00+tax is what I'm told the cost is

I know this because I have to buy them too.
My girl ran into tire shreds from an 18 wheeler and screwed up my front bumper and fog lights.
2700 bucks total damage.
I still have to pay a 500 deductible though. :*(

$179.20 @ MB Laguna Niguel. The fun part was trying to get a labor quote - went through 3 service monkeys who said "we don't give labor estimates over the phone" before I got to my regular advisor. True to her form, she laughed off the other bozos and told me that R&R for the fog light (on a CLK55) books at 1 hour ($82.50).
Now I just gotta decide if it's worth $82.50 for me to crawl under the car
