It's pretty much worth the BlueBook value unless you sold to an MB enthusiast who can appreciate all the mods. Sadly, the average cat looking for a CLK isn't going to pay that much extra for mods if price is a determining factor which it usually is.

Car looks awesome BTW!

Yeah, you pretty much eat the cost of mods unless you put it back to stock and sell the mods separately; or you might get lucky and find that needle in a haystack buyer.

Agreed. You'll get more money back if you sell the mods separately and sell the car in as close to stock condition as you can. Either way you'll probably get about the same for the car, so I would put the stock wheels and audio equipment back in if you have 'em.

The car looks great though. Good luck with the sale and the move.

Right now it's a sellers market. Many might not like the mods so as said above, you can return to mostly stock and recoup more money that way. I think you can sell it for $10k or thereabouts.

Try cars.com or autotrader.com - you might get a dealer interested who's looking to make a buck himself.

I think you're correct!

The KBB value on my about-to-be-traded CLK is actually higher right now than it was in April, 2010, when I first priced a new 2010 E350C.

And the dealer offered me more for it than last year as well, before we even began haggling and even with a busted cat. converter and the Check Engine light shining brightly.

Nice car atlclk. Good luck getting your value out of it.

Even though I'm looking forward to the new one, I am going to really miss my CLK big time. It's been the most fun car to drive I've ever had. Even after 11 years, I'm still continuously amazed at how much low and mid-range performance MB got out of only 215hp and a 5speed trans.

So, are you guys saying this 120,000 miles car is worth $10,000? I thought it should be $5-$8k. I still ignore the fact the used cars are getting more expensive.

I am still looking for a W208 for myself, but I am not really looking for a bad *** modified CLK 430. If I want a modified car, I'd rather do it on my own - it's just my personal preference. If I decide to sell my modified car in the future, I'd take the loss. I'd probably sell the very expensive parts separately.

I didn't see he update the specific. I'd suspect on the camber modification, I am not comfortable about this...

Sold my 02 clk 430 with like 66k miles about two months ago now for 12k. With modified cars you have to find the right person. I just had to look past all the things I did to it unfortunately because I could have stripped it down but then would have been stuck trying to sell of parts which I didn't want to do. GLWS

this was my for sale ad with my parts list hope this help you set a price.

Does the ceramic tint not fade? If so I'm going to go this route next time I hardly ever roll my windows down in my cars and when I do I notice the tint looks like it faded a little. My clk stayed in garage or covered outside so never notice on that car.

Sorry missed your question...
Benefit even at the lightest shade you get the protection of limo tint, always very cool. Does not fade to purple, has a different look to it, 5 year warranty. No window squeeks.
Pretty awesome im glad i went this route.
