Convertible Top Rattle
My CLK 320 cab has a really annoying rattle centered around the top left latching mechanism where the front edge of the top attaches to the top of the windshield. It seems there are a couple of heavy steel blocks into which the upper hooks attach. It also seems these blocks are loose and flopping around. The right side feels solid when latched, but the left side will move almost a quarter of an inch when latched. When the top is down, the rattling gets to be truly annoying.
Does anyone have appropriate diagrams or instructions so I can dive into this issue with a little more confidence and knowledge? Thanks for your response.

Bump. Anyone have a diagram or service manual instructions showing the latching mechanism for the forward header of the convertible top and the parts at the top of the windshield? The rattle is starting to eat a hole in what's left of my brain.
