Newbie here....

Just purchased a high mileage CLK 320 Convertible - which Im very impressed with.

The Alpine stereo is dead - so I want to just replace with a basic unit....
I see that there is an ISO (A/B) type connection.

The A connector however only has 4 leads - I can identify ground and permanent power - bu there are 2 additional that I cant figure out. I also cant find an ignition feed - needed for stereo.

Can anyone advise as to the wiring at the ISO connectors.

if you bought another alpine unit, wouldnt the adapter be the same thing? so you can use the existing adapter and new unit?

Hi, I dont want an alpine unit. I have a standard cd/radio that would be acceptable....all I need is to know the standard pinouts for the iso connection are. G
