Fletcher Jones..just say no
There actually have been 55 Cabs selling for that price due to the high demand for them a few months ago. Also, as was pointed out by RAB, they will stop production on them soon. You also should take account that cars are almost never bought at full sticker. That's why you set the price high. If you were going to sell something that you knew someone would try to knock a few grand off the price, wouldn't you want to start it as high as possible? Don't get me wrong, I would never pay that much for a CLK Cab, especially not when 2 new ones are sitting at Caliber Motors (Anaheim Hills, CA). But the combination of supply being low, and demand being high, you can't blame them for trying; especially in Newport Beach.
Also, those prices are often offered as a service to customers who still own the car, but are willing to sell for a profit.

She promised to bring this to the attention of the top people at FJM and address this and update me on what happens.
I told her that I knew the higher up people probably cared and would take care of any problem I may have, but it shouldnt be that way...everyone there should give great service. No one should get special treatment because EVERYONE should receive special treatment to begin with.
I told her her dealership had a lot of potential, but as it stands, the general concessus is that they give out misinformation, provide poor service, and are arrogant.
I am curious to the response I get. I can't believe they are unaware. If you follow the link on the above message you will see a post from an unhappy customer who took it to channel 2 news and ran a piece.
I will keep you posted on their response "If I get one"
She honestly seemed genuinly concerned. She was going to offer me a bunch of stuff, but I told her I did'nt want anything and that wasnt the purpose of my call and I was too far beyond that and that I was basically a lost customer for life.
